Saturday, October 13 Riblet Sandwiches at Dough Bakery Rating: 4.5

We needed to eat dinner early because we had to be downtown by 7, and I am really terrible at getting food on the table at any certain time. Since we were going to be at the MARTA station right across the street from Dough Bakery anyway, the only logical choice was to grab diner there. For anyone not in Atlanta, Dough is one of two vegan bakeries we have here and we love them both. Dough has a deli inside called Gutenfleisher’s where they make they make their own vegan meats, which is pretty awesome. They also have amazing sides like Bahn Mi pasta salad (I may or may not be a little obsessed with it), potato salad, kale salad, well you get the idea. Every week they do a different sandwich special and this week it was BBQ Riblet. Yes, house-made vegan BBQ Riblet. Where do I start? It was amazing. We both had our sandwiches all the way, which meant it was the riblet, drowning in spicy, tangy BBQ sauce, topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and slaw on a hoagie roll. It was just yum. And huge. I fought the sandwich and the sandwich won. I had a side of the Bahn Mi pasta salad because it’s too good for me to not have every single time I go there (which is pretty much every weekend). It’s tangy and spicy and delicious. Seth got a side of kale salad, which I’ve had before and can vouch for its deliciousness. I don’t know what kind of yum is in that dressing, but it’s fantastic. Nom nom nom…

That kale salad is insanely good. I have been experimenting for the last week trying to recreate it.

I know right, I don't even like kale but their salad has won me over
