Saturday, January 26 Cameli’s Pizza Rating: 4.25

We decided to meet up with some friends we hadn’t seen in a little while for pizza. There are two locations of Cameli’s within walking distance for us, which is awesome. We used to get pizza there right after we first went vegan, but one of us (ahem, Seth) decided he didn’t like vegan cheese for a long while and once I got him to eat pizza again, it was at Mellow Mushroom. I didn’t want to take a chance of a cheese boycott relapse so I didn’t push it. Anyway, we made plans to go to Cameli’s since the great cheese embargo is over and I was thrilled – I love the pizza there. Now, I know vegans can eat a lot of pizza, but 4 people should not be able to just about wipe out two large pizzas. We ordered one with a whole bunch of veggies and our friends ordered one with a bunch of different veggies. We each had just a few slices to take home. Seth and I also had salads. Naturally, we were having so much fun catching up, I forgot until the end to take a picture, so it’s a close up of the leftovers.
